Accreditation and Compliance

What our clients are saying:

“The financial arrangement is 25 percent of the relationship. The rest of that, the 75 percent, is the goodwill kind of stuff. It is the partnering aspect. It is iron sharpening iron. I push on them for certain things, they push back on me. We challenge each other to create this great program. Those are the pieces that you can’t buy, the really good people or partnerships. It doesn’t work that way. You have to discover them.”

The academic world is in a state of constant change. No matter how hard you try, it can be challenging to keep up. That’s where there is strength in numbers.

Because Knowledge Elements works with colleges and universities of various sizes across the country, we are familiar with the accreditation requirements at the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), and regional accreditation bodies. We can assist from the very first steps of seeking accreditation: assessing which accreditation body makes the most sense based on your individual goals.

We will then be with you every step of the way. The accreditation process also can affect any changes that you make to programs and methods of delivery. We help you take a step back and evaluate what might be important to develop now, before beginning the application process. This might include new programs and modalities, or new ventures.

If you already have accreditation, we can help you navigate the process of getting new programs or methods of delivery approved by your accrediting body.

In addition, we are active participants in the larger higher education community, attending meetings and briefings on behalf of our colleges and universities. Often, the time away from campus and the expense of travel makes it difficult for administrators to do. As a result, we guide you through compliance changes and regulatory issues, making sure that you are meeting the highest standards that the law dictates.
