What our clients are saying:
“I know that our adult degree completion program has been transformative in our students’ lives.”
Dr. Wayne Strickland, Academic Dean and Vice President
Multnomah University
Our world moves at break-neck speed. The constant change means that principles that have stood the test of time are more necessary than ever.
But herein lies the challenge: Christian colleges and universities, holding fast to the traditions of the past, may be tempted to retreat. Things may continue to be done in the manner they’ve always been done—sometimes, to the schools’ detriment. Regulatory adjustments are a prime example; with change being forced from the outside, these institutions may find themselves at a loss for how to proceed.
Change, however, need not be solely reactionary. Continuous improvement is necessary in any system, even one in which the overarching mission is more than 2,000 years old.
Knowledge Elements leads colleges and universities on a discovery process. Together, we explore the ways change can create new opportunities, as well as work within the areas where crisis forces transformation. We do both without sacrificing the college’s unique identity.
We believe in the distinct mission of Christian colleges and universities. We believe that they are a vital component of our country’s educational system, that they are profoundly needed in this day and age. Finally, we believe that to be successful, these colleges must balance an adherence to individual missions and principles with a need to be relevant to the needs of today’s students.
Knowledge Elements—through resources, honest discussion, and years of expertise—works with school leadership to forge appropriate breaks from the past. We do not decide the future for you; we help you achieve what you want to become.
Knowledge Elements has proven effective in helping colleges that are in crisis, bringing our full attention to their survival. We also have had numerous successes with colleges that were stable, but wanted to grow into new areas, or to expand their programs to meet a changing student population.
Knowledge Elements stands out for a commitment that goes beyond merely crafting a plan or providing a program; we create thorough—and honest—assessments of what it will take to see dreams through to completion.
All of this takes time. That’s why our model is built on a long-term relationship rather than a quick fix. Together, our missions—and our successes—are interwoven. We engage with institutions to lay a strong foundation to the future.
