What our clients are saying:
“The financial arrangement is 25 percent of the relationship. The rest of that, the 75 percent, is the goodwill kind of stuff. It is the partnering aspect. It is iron sharpening iron. I push on them for certain things, they push back on me. We challenge each other to create this great program. Those are the pieces that you can’t buy, the really good people or partnerships. It doesn’t work that way. You have to discover them.”

It’s only natural that the first question one encounters with any change is: “How does this affect me?” If your university is considering adding online courses or degree completion programs, you naturally will have many questions about the process.
Let’s start with one assurance: We are happy to answer any questions that you may have. As your college or university engages Knowledge Elements, we will become familiar faces on your campus.
Also know that your university will remain in complete control of the process. New courses or programs that are developed will be held to the same high standards—and complete the same approval process—as any other course or program at your college. Our program allows flexibility as well; we can alter existing courses to use a different textbook, or expand the course objectives.
Traditional classroom experiences will continue to have value, but classes that meet at one time in one location are not practical for every student.
Online courses open up a new avenue to reach these students. They also provide a new way for you to engage students in your traditional classrooms, by adding interactive, computer-based experiences. You also may develop your own online courses, which we believe offer a more structured learning environment than an independent study course. If your university owns the copyright to the course, our Knowledge Elements Education Network (KEEN) allows you to offer the course to students at other member colleges and universities, providing royalties.
You will have the opportunity to participate in several levels of Sunagogy training for the facilitation and development of courses. This will allow you to choose the level of involvement in the teaching and development of courses that fits your knowledge base and skill set. The level of participation includes everything from the facilitation of courses to the posting of course content in our course creator tool.
Our web-based Atheneo system provides an easy-to-use way to monitor student activity and to interact with students outside of the traditional classroom time. You can spend your time focused on teaching without burdensome administrative tasks.
So how does this change affect you? It opens up the possibilities—including those for the students.
