What our clients are saying:
“The financial arrangement is 25 percent of the relationship. The rest of that, the 75 percent, is the goodwill kind of stuff. It is the partnering aspect. It is iron sharpening iron. I push on them for certain things, they push back on me. We challenge each other to create this great program. Those are the pieces that you can’t buy, the really good people or partnerships. It doesn’t work that way. You have to discover them.”

According to the 2010 United States Census, only 27.2 percent of Americans possess a bachelor’s degree or higher. Education was a significant factor in the most recent economic downturn as well. Those who attended college without completing a bachelor’s degree had about twice the unemployment as those with a bachelor’s degree.
In addition, those with “some college” struggled with under-employment, a figure that included those who were working part-time, but wanted a full-time job. In 2011, under-employment was 21.9 percent for those with some college.
A college degree has never been more important. It brings job security and stability to families. The need to work and support a family often keeps those who need a degree most from pursuing one.
To put it bluntly, any college that is not seeking ways to serve these students is not reaching the full potential of its mission.
